If a cityโs average building height went from 2 stories โ 6 stories overnight, rents would drop 20โ40%. Thatโs basic supply and demand. NYCโs average height is ~2 stories because we have height limits. build more, pay less.

This year is the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the Ben Franklin Bridge, which I cross every day between work in Camden and home in Philly. Itโs amazing they created infrastructure a century ago that stands the test of time and will be carrying future generations across the Delaware river!
