I had my doubts but I found @bretdevereaux.bsky.social ’s pre-election post convincing. I don’t think Trump has a *complicated* ideology but I do think he checks all the fascism boxes—and it’s not just about himself, the only other people he seems to genuinely admire are foreign tyrants.
