A lot of 2025 was a real stinker, but I had some good moments in there too. I went to Winnipeg in January and experienced a prairie winter for the first time. Got to see the Jets play the Kraken and visit with my good friend and her family.

I bought a new car this year, replacing my old 2013 Honda, and I gave my old car to my nephew. The absolute joy that kid is having with this car is such a treat. Like I don't know if I've ever felt this much happiness from giving someone something.

One great benefit to being a fat lady is that I am very squishy and my cat absolutely loves draping himself over my body with his head on my shoulder to have a snooze. I've got a Tim's coffee, blanket, cat snoozing and am reading a book. Pretty good morning so far.
