I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm putting Dragon Quest 1+2 HD2D down, possibly for a long while at roughly the halfway point in DQ1, the bosses start more-or-less requiring good RNG to beat. You HAVE to get lucky with things proccing and status attacks missing you. RNG isn't fun in an RPG.

After a night of dealing with an anxiety strike courtesy of hypochondria, I open the Dark Tower 4 to resume reading, and this is the first page after where I left off last night Eddie gets me, he just knows.

Hypochondria is fucking stupid! I can look up symptoms of deadly diseases and see I very loosely and vaguely have noted early symptoms, really generic shit like "tired in the day" and "digestive issues" and start panicking that I probably have some deadly disease and the clock is ticking. (1/2)

Dang. between early June and Sept 30th, the Switch 2 sold over 10 million units (For the record, between early MARCH and Sept 30th of 2017, the Switch 1 sold about 7.5 million) Switch 2 is doing great, glad to see. Means more devs will be eager to get their games on it :)

I'm noticing a huge recurring theme in my own storytelling about opposing forces Light and Dark. Chaos and Order. Passion and Logic. Pairs of opposing forces that in some ways intertwine and intersect and end up putting worlds in peril in the meantime. Sometimes across universes. I am in too deep.

I remember reading Shakespeare's plays in school and thinking it must be some hoity toity high class thing for blue bloods only, and then when I became an adult I realized that he's basically the widest spread entertainer who made his plays for everyone to enjoy, from smartasses to pottymouths

I just watched a team of 3 level 7 characters take out an Adult White Dragon in its own lair and I don't think I've ever felt that much tension as a DM before in my LIFE.
