DJ Kranic is a Vancouver based DJ who’s been part of a vicious smear campaign against a few accounts on Threads run by Black women. I put out a call to my neighbourhood last weekend for items to help unhoused people in our city. So far I’ve been given five sleeping bags, four raincoats and a tent. I wish our city did more to help the housing crisis but our mayor is deep in the pockets of rich developers.

Not drinking alone is my self-care. I’ve had an emotional week and I’ve been alone while my husband is in Nova Scotia. If I had been drinking I’d feel like shit right now. Instead I’ve had a very productive week. Even when my kids came for a long weekend lunch I bought a selection of 0% drinks.
