MN GOP is trying to paint a picture of DFL being the reason we have a special session. Since 2008 whenever the GOP has any power we have a special session to pass the budget. Budget years since 2008 with a completed budget on time….2009 and 2023 when the DFL was in charge. Who is the problem?

Voters in Duane Quam’s district independently organized a recall that has been accepted by the MN SOS and is now heading to the Supreme Court. The GOP has been unsuccessful in getting one of their recalls completed correctly.

Minnesota House GOP continues to go against the state Supreme Court by refusing to seat duly-elected Democrat Brad Tabke (DFL) in an effort to seize a two-year speakership: “They are moving forward with kicking out Rep. Tabke, regardless the decision of the Court.”

The Supreme Court ruled that Republicans violated the Constitution when they tried to seize control of the Minnesota House for two years. It’s time for Republicans’ power grab to end.

Democrats are asking Republicans for something very simple: to honor the will of the voters.
