Today’s Animal Welfare Strategy will safeguard animals: 🐶In the home 🐮On the farm 🦊In the wild We've improved zoo standards, ended puppy smuggling and protected livestock from dog attacks. Now, we'll ban caged hens, cruel snares, trail hunting, and curb low welfare dog breeding.

Very pleased to see that Willenhall Police Station has reopened to the public this week. It is open from 9am to 5pm seven days a week. Labour's Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee and the work WM Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Foster are making Coventry's streets safer.

At MTC in Ansty with WMCA Mayor Richard Parker discussing his £17 billion West Midlands Growth Plan. Employers including JLR, CCFC, Cemex, start-ups and small family firms, explained what they need government to do so they could thrive, create jobs and help regenerate the city’s economy.

Wonderful news that Longford Park in my East Coventry constituency has been received a Green Flag Award. This recognises the hard work of the staff and volunteers who ensure that the park is accessible to all, serves its local community and is managed to high standards. Well done!
