Article claiming AI-generated art is more sustainable than human made art. The authors acknowledge many methodological limitations but still forget one key thing: humans continue consuming energy (aka living) whether they're writing/drawing or not. Art is a surplus to life, not a deficit.

Reviewing and cleaning my Rmd scripts that use APIs to retrieve metadata. Couldn't find any clear best practice guidelines but strongly recommend adding a call-save-load protocol with the first two disabled from auto running to stop accidental calls and overwriting data (especially while learning!)

A must-read for anyone thinking about using LLMs in social science research. LLM annotations (especially from closed, proprietary models) change unpredictably over time. And we don't know why. This is a huge problem for scientific reproducibility.
