My back pain is significantly improved today. Really getting hit the sciatica, though. The real annoyance with that is the nausea. And obviously, the pain, but that's constant. The nausea comes in waves.

Excellent thread. When it comes to disability, Star Trek has always shown accommodation as opposed to dismissal. Star Trek shows us the present through the lens of the future. It shows an ideal where people are not seen as less capable due to disability.
