Cool to see Tiger being played by Derek last night. I’m heading to the Cap tonight for the Unbroken Chain show and wonder if perhaps Tiger will make its way over to the Port Chester. I hope so!

Reverend Jesse Jackson called on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope; to step forward and say “Send me” wherever we have a chance to make an impact. How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call. What a great debt we owe to him.

You have clearly not read the War Powers Act, Mike. Everything you've written is totally wrong. The War Powers Act SPECIFICALLY PROHIBITS military action unless: a/ there is a prior congressional authorization; or b/ it's a response to an attack against the U.S.

The great McCoy Tyner, born today in 1938. “I play what I live,” he said. “My music is a reflection of the life I’ve lived so far, and of the people I’ve been blessed to be around. Everything that happens to you, everything you see, it all goes into the music somehow.” “Impressions”

The Warner Bros. Beacon Theatre was opened on December 24, 1929. The 2,657 cap theater was a movie palace only until 1966 when they started having live entertainment. It was turned into a rock venue in 1974. Here's the original vertical sign & marquee.

California – this Election Day, vote yes on Prop 50. California’s Prop 50 says that if Republicans are going to abuse the system to try and hang onto power, we’re going to counteract that abuse and create a level playing field in the midterm elections. Make a plan to vote yes on Prop 50.
