7/19 in Paddling Pool despite being seed 15. Not terrible. That final game felt terrible on Wiper. Swapping Stamper felt way better but my mechs just aren't there yet. Gotta keep grinding Stamper

I made a tier list (Zones only) based on AREA CUP results in version 10.1.0. Weapons with consistent results, strong impact, and top placements by multiple players are placed in higher tiers. Tiers up to A are ordered. D tier consists of weapons I’ve never seen used. Opinions welcome. #compsplatoon

I'm glad people are starting to realize how good X Rank is for learning how to fight. Not teamfights necessarily but like taking gunfights, 1v1s, and setting yourself up for an easy kill. Also good for really grinding out a lot of weapon specific tech/positioning/aim/etc #compsplatoon

Earlier this year, I said that if I didn’t get LI banned by the end of the year, I’d quit comp Splatoon and focus my energy elsewhere. I had been assigned LUTI Div9 that season, my lowest placement since starting the game and I felt like I couldn’t hit the highs I ever hit with Smash.

The example living rent free in my head is main weapon-centric play. West top level describes it in a way that makes it clear they understand it. We regularly watch JP be good about it. But play in mid level, high level, etc and try a single play without 2+ specials behind it and "you're feeding"

nobody in this community knows what “getting better” actually means, so all they wanna do is get into + servers or explain their skill with a div, which imo means legit NOTHING rn. Stop putting a title to ur skill and figure out how to win vs EVERYONE.

The worst part about seeing all the HyperDive discussion is that someone will call the strategy mindless, a HyperDive player will explain some of the depth, and only to be met with "well its wrong because that's not how the game is supposed to be played". Feels shallow and ignorant. #compsplatoon
