I admit I'm a little confused as to why a consensus seems to have formed that SCOTUS will strike down Trump's obviousl illegal tariffs. That would be correct on the law, sure, but what does that have to do with anything? They'll strike it down if they feel that it saves Trump from himself (possible)

I have seen a lot of people say âwhatâs the point?â of doing their academic work in particular, and I get that. Itâs like grief: the inbox, the day to day, doesnât reflect any of the feelings. But, gosh, a part of me stubbornly thinks: they want us to never think, they want it so badly.

America has 925 billionaires as of this year. Collectively they have a record $6.9 trillion in wealth. The bottom 50% of Americans control $4.2 trillion in wealth. When 925 people control more wealth than half a countryâs population, we have a very serious problem.
