Watched The Thursday Murder Club and having read the books I can honestly say this is an absolutely dire adaptatation. A spiky clever cosy crime book has been adapted into a cringeworthy tv movie with some seriously criminal bad acting.

Informed two of my staff members that they're in the shortlist for a promotion. Later I noticed one of the hopefuls bragging to friends on social media that they might be promoted at work. That person did not get promoted. Because they spelled it "permotion" in the posts.
