I just removed a GPU from a machine, and when I went to put it in the storage box that I had for it, I discovered it already contained another GPU of the same model (different manufacturer). I have no idea where that second GPU came from. 😰

I did a project with #Cesium to support #Unity Web. That just shipped this morning (cesium.com/blog/2025/12...)! To test it I've been making a #WebGPU flight sim game. Lots of fun being able to fly across the entire world, from a web page! And it's running at 144 FPS on my computer, in a browser!

I've had issues with using about:inspect to debug web pages with Chrome on Android for a while now. Device will always just stop responding after a while. Looks like this bug is the root cause, so keep an eye on that if you've experienced similar issues.

This is very impressive, and you should go try it right now. The quality isn't Hyperscape-level of course, but it only needs a single image input, and processes in a matter of minutes!

Does anyone actually use cube map layers in OpenXR? They feel under specified and I've found zero examples of their use. Spec seems silent on what creating a swapchain with a faceCount of 6 actually means in terms of the images you get back.

My Galaxy XR controllers finally arrived! Hand tracking on the headset is perfectly fine, but it's amazing how much more responsive it feels when you get actual sensors involved. Really wish they had opted to include these in the box with the headset.

Very funny to compare this to the Valve hardware announcement video, and think back to the Amazon guy on LinkedIn who was like, “why can’t we compete with Valve??? It is a mystery!!!”

Starting in Chrome 144 (currently Canary) WebGPU's WriteBuffer and WriteTexture methods should be approx twice as fast for larger uploads! My colleagues and I have been optimizing out some unnecessary copies.

My colleague Antonio Maiorano added some basic support for capturing Chrome #WebGPU content with RenderDoc recently! I wrote a brief article about how to use it. It's pretty primitive right now, but I have high hopes that we can improve the ergonomics in the future.

I ordered a Galaxy XR w/ controllers on the day it became available. Already got the headset, controllers said they were delayed till Nov 3rd. Then Nov 6th. Then today I got notified that they're delayed till JANUARY 8th! They really thought nobody was gonna buy these, huh?
