i think it is ok to reiterate that the victim as a us citizen. yes, noncitizens are equally entitled to human rights. but also, it's important to illustrate how ice isn't about immigration at all

A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.

It's really deeply fucking troubling that they will put out these statements when there are multiple videos proving them to be demonstrably false. They know the truth doesn't actually matter. Objective reality doesn't actually matter. I don't know how the fuck we're coming back from this.
