I've lived in Saskatchewan a good chunk of my life (admittedly only in the cities) and the first dead cow I ever saw was on a taxi ride from Heathrow to central London. I don't know what happened but it was half face planted, half standing. It was a weird introduction to the UK.

My biggest lament with all the talk of AB separation and the possibility of SK being dumb enough to follow is that I'm not upwardly mobile now. I'm not keen on the thought of my six figure CAD house becoming worth 50 Moe bucks or 0.7USD on the dollar. This is the dumbest fucking timeline.

A lot of people in Canada (mostly Cons) hate automatic parole review by the justice system after 25 yrs because they falsely believe that it means automatic release. It doesn't. It's not perfect but I'll take our system over one where a President can pardon swaths of people on a whim with impunity.
