He didn't approach them with a gun. He happened to have a concealed gun in a holster which was legally registered and permitted. So the ICE cops could not have seen it when he went over to help a woman who appeared injured by the ICE thugs. They decided they didn't like that. They took his gun.

Alex Pretti served as a nurse in the intensive care unit of the Veterans Affairs hospital in Minneapolis. He cared for the most vulnerable patients in the veteran population. I've been thinking the veterans who received care from him. Some homeless, some without family. He was there for them.
