Day 1 of a week of trauma work with flood victims in TX. There were moments when I felt the full weight of another parent’s suffering, having to remain grounded & steady. There were also moments of healing, calming nervous systems that have seen too much chaos. And wouldn’t trade that for anything ❤️‍🩹
