This will probably happen with clinical notes produced by ambient scribes and AI chart summarization tools. Unlikely that busy clinicians will catch AI errors since that doesn’t happen now with copy-and-paste errors.

Glad to disseminate this paper which really calls for a critical health equity lens when considering #AI in evaluation and treatment. What jumped out for me was de-biasing prompts only improved 67% of the scenarios. I also appreciated the #intersectionality lens to see how bias can be compounded.

R.I.P. Bob “Slim” Dunlap. The former Replacements guitarist died at home in Minneapolis today due to complications from a severe stroke he suffered in 2012. Dunlap replaced Bob Stinson in the ‘Mats in 1987 and played on their final two albums before releasing two solo LPs in the ‘90s. He was 73.
