To explain this photo a bit more: back then, most programming was done on paper (sometimes on special coding sheets), then punched onto cards/tape, then fed into a mainframe to be tested (& if necessary debugged). Counterintuitively, needing LESS computer time was the mark of a better programmer!

I showed up at a meeting a few months ago that had a full RSVP list, but only three people showed up. Everyone else had sent an AI note taker. Obviously, this meant there wasn’t really a meeting to take notes on. There was no one there.

This is one of the many many reasons our virtual meetings and webinars are no-AI notetaker zones. We are intentional and serious about creating about AI-free digital spaces for critical thinking, deep introspection, and meaningful discussions for *humans*
