My whole body has been hurting head to toe for the past several days. I really need to drag my butt to the doc to get checked for fibromyalgia... Granted, the meds to manage it would likely make other of my issues worse ( according to my mom ) but at least I would know if that's what's causing pain.

My friend's garage roof collapsed and I'm hoping to try to raise funds this coming week to help her rebuild so she can have a functional work space again and insulated before winter. Gonna try with Zorin. And...yeah, I know - it's basically a re-skinned version of Ubuntu using KDE. Buuuuut, I've had the best luck with artist-related tasks / programs through Ubuntu. My hope is that I can get something to eventually work :P

I tried out Manjaro, and it's pretty neat...but there were really weird hardware passthrough bugs whilst trying to do windows emulation through virtualbox. Plus, there were odd issues with getting drivers to work on the windows-side of things.

*groans* I really don't want to downgrade to windows 11... But there are apps that just don't work on linux. I've tried emulation in numerous different forms and things just don't function quite right. I really like Clip Studio, but they've made it clear they don't want to build for linux :/

My town was a victim of a very significant flood, and my family and I were part of all those affected, but before any worries, they and I are fine. We were able to evacuate hours before the disaster, during the early morning (I'll add a picture, A friend of mine took it

The inside of my home is a mess, The water sank both floors of my house, leaving absolutely all of my family's belongings completely damaged. (As an example, the house on the right belongs to a neighbor of mine, both were two stories high.)

Unfortunately, among my damaged belongings is my PC and setup, everything completely ruined by mud and river water. So I'm not sure if there will be any way to rescue the files, drawings and other things I had, if not, then all of that is already lost

To those of you who helped me get home: Thank you, tremendously. Without good, generous people, society would have a hard time running. You brought me home, safe and sound, and I cannot thank you all enough. Seriously, I am in your debt. We’ll be on tomorrow at 10AM, and I will tell a story.
