Holy heck is the new VotV update so good. Art, sound, music all have been polished, the base is incredibly cozy, it's all been optimized, new work mechanics, new pacing really improves the tone. Went from a game I'd say "you gotta get into it" to "oh you'll definitely get it".

Rant today but just something that's sand in my shoe: modern AI is inherently destructive. That even if the mythology of not requiring massive amounts of data theft and the energy/environmental harm were to be resolved- the endgoal of corporate AI is just harmful and evil.

Also a thought- anyone who likes Pokemon Legends: Arceus have opinions on PL:ZA? PL:A was my fav pokemon game ever and I want to see some genuine opinions on ZA because majority of the online voices about pokemon for the past decade has been kind of nothing but hate.

I like: When people see me playing a game and ask to play or hang out, even if I'm grinding out some solo stuff I hate: People see me playing a game then faulting me for not doing something else at the time like work or socialization (or bed because I admittedly have a terrible sleep schedule)

Something I've struggled with, and imagine a lot of other neurodivergent folks do, is the classification or even just *feeling* of being adult children as autists. I think partly this infantilization probably has a lot to do with cultural normals deeming certain autistic behaviors as immature.
