I finally got to see the Wayne County Veterans Services van out in the wild! As Director of Wayne County's Department of Health, Human and Veteran Services, we realized that our vets had to drive long distances and get parking to get services. We fixed it by taking the office mobile.

This move by SCOTUS is deeply insulting. The district court gathered a massive amount of evidence in record time, and District Judge Jeffrey Brown wrote a careful 160-page opinion. Now a majority of justices have dispensed with it without even providing a full written opinion.

The Supreme Court ruled yesterday that the US Postal Service can't be sued for intentionally withholding and not delivering a person's mail, for any reason! So, if the USPS just decides not to deliver your absentee ballot because you're a suspected democrat, you have no recourse.

Georgia just passed the "Epstein amendment" bipartisan, unanimous in the Senate requiring settled sexual harassment claims against lawmakers to be public record. A Republican introduced it. A Democrat attached it to another bill. He looked back at her and smiled. Congress voted not to do this.

The reason why people are sick usually has a lot less to do with physiology and a lot more to do with pathology in our politics. Air quality, water quality, whether you can walk in your community safely, whether or not you can see a doctor if you get sick in the first place.
