Congress has installed the Jan. 6 plaque, but in a location that visitors are barred from entering (and would apparently be ejected from the building if they went there). So, our litigation continues. www.cbsnews.com/news/jan-6-p...

The location of the plaque that was just hung, is in a place that it will not be visible to the public. While I am thankful for this first step, our lawsuit continues until they plaque is hung in accordance with the law.

“Reached by phone Sat., [former Capitol Police officer Harry] Dunn said he was glad, but still pushing for answers … noting that the 2022 federal law stipulates the plaque should be on the west front of the Capitol. ‘I never thought honoring police officers would be this controversial,’ Dunn said.”

This is an important step forward, and I want to thank @libradunn1.bsky.social and @semperwry.bsky.social for their courage in fighting for this. To make sure that a future Congress doesn’t take the plaque down, we’re going to continue our litigation until the plaque has a permanent home.

This morning we sued Donald Trump and Pam Bondi for the approval of the illegal sale of TikTok's U.S. assets to administration allies like Oracle. This deal allows both China-allied ByteDance and Trump-allied Oracle to censor content they don't like.

In addition to being disgusting, it's also counterproductive for the Trump admin's own goals. DOJ can only win in court if it's perceived as credible and independent. This is a literal sign that it is not.

Over a dozen people and companies donated to the Trump inaugural campaign and then had their government investigations, lawsuits, or prosecutions dropped. Those who didn't donate in some fashion are still being prosecuted.

Reporters: PE owned companies go bankrupt so often in large part because firms can extract fees from their companies that are difficult, if not impossible, to claw back in bankruptcy. So firms often have an incentive to suck their own companies dry, even if it destroys the companies.
