These beauties arrived last week but forgot to post. Sea & Steel: Columbus’ Voyages and Iwo Jima: Hell on Earth both from Neva Wargames. These are their 1st 2 games and I would say job well done!

Onoda was an experiment in storytelling. A sad story, by the way. Probably more linked to a rpg than a standard solitaire game. Not a puzzle, not a resource management game, but more akin to a comic book plus a game. I am proud of the job done when somebody, as Dan, reports this kind of experience!

GMT Games really gave the design team full latitude (and time!) to work on producing special components for this release. Between the oversized cards, player mats and custom player aids included in the release, I think you'll like the immersive feel into the era.
