Anniversary of the battle of Aspern-Essling, 1809. This battle will be vol. 3 in our BoN series (Q4/25). An overlooked, very dramatic battle. One of the few Napoleonic battles where ammunition supply was a real issue. After the clash Napoleon said "I lost the battle against the river".
