Everyone who opposes ending PBS in Arkansas should contact: Arkansas PBS (800-662-2386), our governor's office (501-682-2345), and their state lawmakers. (Find contact information for your state lawmakers at

I have to admit the news that Arkansas will no longer have PBS programming unless you pay to stream online has just dumped me into a depression. It’s just unfathomable that my granddaughter will grow up in a state that hates education and culture and art so much.

I cannot imagine not having PBS available. When I was a kid, we had two channels: AETN (as it was known at the time) and the local ABC affiliate. I grew up with Sesame Street, Electric Company, 321 Contact, Doctor Who, and more. (1/3)

Hearing that Arkansas PBS is going to disaffiliate with PBS. This is a tragic loss for our state. Are the studios being overtaken for state-funded Huckabee Bible Hour? Are there other states that will take us long-time AR PBS supporters in and remove their location restrictions for streaming?

One of the reasons people wear comfortable clothes in the airport is the workout required to RUN to your connecting gate. Throw in flights being cancelled and you need something that stands up to a second day of wear. You really can't afford anything else after the extra hotel charge.
