No matter how much I integrate, there will always be people who treat me poorly because I'm a foreigner. I really wish people would open their perspectives.

Did you know that I have extras on my website? One of them is a short story in the Turner series, where you learn what's happening between Smite and Richard Dalrymple when they were kids:

This list isn't weird, it just means you are probably 40+ish. Haven't done 9. Maybe around the house as a joke but not out in public.

this sort of learned helplessness is going to be extremely dangerous as it permeates adulthood - why bother to learn to drive if the car does it for you, why bother to learn medication interactions, why bother why bother why bother

Trying to grasp moments of joy in this bleakest of historical moments. It really is a curse to live in interesting times. Oh it would be a joyous thing if the world were to embrace peace and human rights and to feed the hungry and eliminate poverty and homelessness. Those things aren't impossible

I think that tech developers aren't talking to humans when they want to make updates. Most of the "updates" seem really terrible most of the time and mostly seem to be more and more AI trash. It's like they want people to leave technology and the internet.

In 2008 I met a climate scientist from Mali who was advocating for this so long that he looked exhausted. Absolutely amazing man. He was working so hard on this. And then I see numbers like this and my heart just soars. Youba Sokona, you (and your peers) really did it.

So for-profit AI companies have trained on the world's largest collaborative volunteer project and a precious free resource, to make money for their for-profit enterprises. They have crushed traffic to the volunteer project, starving it of donors and volunteers

A reminder that this is the same man who voted to keep the German men’s right to rape their wives, so it’s not sexual violence against German women he’s opposed to. Some say: it was long ago! He was an adult politician, and never apologised.

So the main culture war in Germany, fought by the country’s leader, is that despite mass deportations there are still too many non-white men in German cities: which needs to change so that white German daughters can feel safer. That’s an actual position that he is taking. An incitement to violence.

I'm so effing tired of US citizens who have zero effing clue about foreign policy & believe all the swill their current govt speaks. I also wish the US doesn't have as much economic & political power over the rest of the world. We couldn't vote for this & yet we have the consequences

Thoughts: It is a disgusting thing that so many lust after war destruction desolation. All without paying the ultimate price. Sitting in their air-conditioned offices, smug while counting their gold, covered in blood. The earth lying with toxic smoke spiralling up from the dead.

This is absolutely heartbreaking. This man should not have been murdered. His children should still have a father. His wife should not have to tell people her trauma. This government is committing war crimes.

Just heard a news clip w/ a man from MI saying: you expect these things overseas (mass shootings), no my dude. It does not happen all the time overseas. In war zones, yes. But seriously. Wow.

is it actually an economic blockade when the reason why european postal services won't deliver is because the USA has no infrastructure in place to collect the tariffs they put on these good, so they want couriers run by *foreign governments* to collect taxes on their behalf? No! What the fuck! lol

Just attended the Berlin protest against Israel’s mass starvation of Palestinian civilians. Hundreds in attendance, policing was mild to start with but then sharply turned aggressive. This is the best sign that I saw there.

How has basic living costs, and roof over your head, affordable childcare and healthcare become a "radical left wing" ideology. Folks. These are the basics of human life and community. How is being able to live now suddenly a "left wing" idea?!?!?! Make it make sense.
