A very special Olympic themed Hailes Quarry Junior Parkrun #42 as we welcomed Olympic Gold Medalist Jen Dodds to warm up the troops, get them underway, and who had a huge queue of folks all wanting their picture with her. What a star! ⭐

We have again raised the poor condition of the path from Redhall Drive down to the Redhall Park with @edinburghcouncil.bsky.social after it caused a local resident to fall from their mobility scooter, leaving them badly bruised and stuck until someone came along to help.

A hard session for our Giant Hogweed team on the Murrayburn up at Riccarton. Root tap cutting of hundreds of seedlings to put an end to this seed source onto the main river. Lots more sessions ahead but progress being made.
