I can't describe how much I love the scruffy ground behind the derelict Longstone Inn. With 8+ species of butterfly, 2 day flying moths, lots of birds including kestrel & swallow and an abundance of glorious textured wild flowers.

I hope this haven remains untouched

Fun morning in the Dells as we practiced intermediate wading whilst scouting for invasives and removing rubbish from the river and the woods. Managed to make it all the way up to Redhall Weir and pull out a problematic Balsam patch at Katesmill. Thanks again everyone & well done!

A very special Olympic themed Hailes Quarry Junior Parkrun #42 as we welcomed Olympic Gold Medalist Jen Dodds to warm up the troops, get them underway, and who had a huge queue of folks all wanting their picture with her. What a star! โญ
