Something I should point out (again): Bluesky has *no* monetization. It's running purely on VC money. Someday they hope to sell user data, run ads, and license the code, but for now it's basically just an extended beta test. A blackout has literally no effect on the site nor its owners.

Just a reminder that right now is a fantastic time to take that monthly Disney plus cash and spend it on trans/bipoc/disabled creators and small businesses. Boycotting the bad things is fantastic, but using those funds to then support and uplift those who’ve been marginalized is even better.

This book is a banger and I heartily recommend it to those who can handle it (it can be a rough read at times if it parallels your youth). Very informative, very enraging at times, very necessary.

To be clear, I was proud of the SplotchFighter! I still like the basic idea of what I was going for, which is why it's getting a fresh coat of paint that's up to my current skills. Someday I'll look back on the black and tan fighter and want to redo it as well. You can just do it again!
