Our qualitative study got desk reject for “sample size” & “validity”. Appealed & reply said we should add 1)coder reliability & 2)numerical data in a table to justify “theme saturation” for paper to go to review. I’ve published qual work for 9 years & don’t know how to deal w/ this quant bias. Help!

🗣️First Bluesky post seems like a good opportunity to share the second publication of my PhD! It outlines the design & development of our education package about community #aphasia group facilitation, and our phase I acceptability pilot. I have taken this course myself and recommend it to any researcher or clinician wishing to start their own peer befriending schemes or similar programs. I learned a ton we are now implementing through our local #aphasia center.
