Our community is organizing a jam in the late October: itch.io/jam/dcexjam2... It's a single genre (dungeon crawlers aka gridders like Eye of the Beholder or early Might and Magic and Wizardry) jam with limited set of assets so participants can just focus on making a game instead of making assets.

It is happening! Finally a chance to get “jam proof” badge for eecs (bsky.app/profile/nolo...). I will definitely not make edat (strongly typed file format and parser) before the jam, but eecs alone should be enough!
