For over two years, Israel dismissed the Gaza Health Ministry’s death toll as “Hamas propaganda.” Now, in a private briefing, the Israeli military admitted to killing over 70,000 Palestinians, the same numbers they spent years denying, before immediately backtracking.

You had the chance to stop the funding. Instead, 21 Democrats voted to keep ICE operations going. If you were serious, you would've whipped those votes, not go on NPR to talk about "party unity" on ICE when the votes say the opposite.

This is a symbolic move, not structural change. ICE will continue operating as designed unless Congress defunds it. Leadership means zero funding for ICE and passing comprehensive, 21st-century immigration reform that creates a lawful path to citizenship.
