Noem and the Trump Administration have no intention of protecting FEMA or the communities it supports. They are withholding FEMA funding despite having the money to help families. If we truly care about FEMA and its mission, we must demand its autonomy and dismantle DHS.

Another Palestinian American murdered by Israeli settlers. Nasrallah Abu Siyam deserves justice.    Everyone in Congress must stop turning a blind eye to the horrors happening to Palestinians, including American citizens, due to Israel-sanctioned settler violence.

Right now, there are thousands of Palestinians in Israeli prisons being held without charge. Now the Israeli government wants to administer capital punishment to those denied both their freedom and due process.

Nope. That's illegal. Let’s me be clear: Trump is stealing tax payers money to develop Gaza into his Riviera. His goal is not peace; it is profit.    Congress must intervene and reclaim its oversight and appropriations authority.

For a whole year, DHS hid that they murdered Ruben, a young man in Texas, after a traffic stop. Just like they did with Silverio, Renee, Keith, Alex, and Linda, they lied and avoided accountability. How many more people have to be executed before my colleagues realize that reforms are not enough?

That's right! The Constitution is clear: the power to purse, including the power to impose taxes and tariffs, belongs to Congress. I am proud of the work I did with my colleagues to ensure we finally eliminated the tariffs that were harming small businesses and working families. 1/2

6 months ago, I spoke with Marisa Kabas about the dangers that the Trump administration's anti-immigrant campaign represented for our communities. Today, I am as clear as I was that day, we must Melt ICE, dismantle DHS, and hold the fascists accountable.

Over and over again, we have seen DHS's playbook: shoot, lie, criminalize. And every time, they are caught red-handed in their deception.   DHS was built as a weapon to be pointed at anyone the government considers the public enemy or a "domestic terrorist." We have to dismantle DHS.

I am heartbroken to learn that Ofelia, my 16-year-old constituent with cancer whose father was taken from her at a Home Depot, passed away.   Even as Ofelia fought cancer, she also fought to bring her father home and ensured that he would no longer have to live in fear in the shadows. 1/2

Another win in the courts! While I am glad that Venezuelan refugees will be returned to safety, they deserve justice. They were beaten, tortured, sexually assaulted, and starved at CECOT under Noem and DHS. We must MELT ICE, impeach Noem, hold those responsible accountable, and dismantle DHS.

The power of the people is stronger than the weapons they would yield against us. DHS is finally leaving Minnesota thanks to the work organized communities did to protect one another. We will not forget the pain inflicted on our neighbors and we know the fight is not over.

Black and Brown veterans are among those being targeted and terrorized by DHS. To protect ALL our veterans, we have to take a stand, claw back ICE's slush fund, and redirect those resources towards veterans' benefits. It's what our constituents want.

After being hospitalized without providing information to her family, Leqaa is back in an ICE concentration camp— where her health deteriorates.

Marimar wasn’t a “domestic terrorist.” DHS shot her, lied about it, celebrated her near-execution, tried to criminalize her, and then fought to hide the evidence. The agency is rotten to the core, and I fully support Marimar's effort to pursue legal action against DHS.

During today’s Veteran’s Affairs Committee Hearing, Secretary Collins openly admitted to be in violation to the oath he took to serve every veteran. The VA, under his leadership, is not ensuring all veterans receive the benefits they earned and deserve.

Like everyone in the Trump Administration, Pam Bondi’s only qualification is being a loyalist. Lashing out is the mark of weakness, incompetence, and cowardice.   She is an embarrassment.
