I couldn't agree more. Human suffering is never a gotcha. It is horrendous what this modern world has turned us into. We have forgotten our humanity. I think all of us are guilty of it at some point or another. Please don't take joy in death and suffering. Much of the divide is manufactured.

I love Dark Souls but I think it gave gamers brain damage because now everyone thinks the gold standard for dark fantasy RPG combat is rolling around like Sonic the Hedgehog while a guy with a big hammer chases you Looney Tunes style.

Honestly can't agree more. Puritanical standards are so ridiculous. People can do more than one thing with their lives and even keep them separate. It's so weird to see a renewed wave of puritanical opinion sweep through every creative sphere of influence in 2025.

I am glad beyond measure to see anime be mainstream these days. I remember when it wasn't growing up. It's like a dream come true. And I am so so happy for very young people just now getting into it. I'm glad they have so much more than we did! It's the best!
