the top row was my color palette for the comic Highly ExperiMental since it's debut in 2011. Back then, i made the comic using the Cintiq 12WX, which had such dogshit color accuracy that light colors didn't differentiate between warm and cool on screen, which leads to this mess on all other screens

i realized earlier today that the only way from Tacoma to Seattle is going up the I-5 highway even via public transit, and it will likely have so much traffic during the World Cup that we will essentially be stranded here until the games end.

Everytime i see the mountain outside my window, I'm reminded that I've been more at home and myself out here than I ever been during my whole adulthood in New York City. Tacoma will never have food anywhere as tasty as New Yorkers make it, but I've accepted the payoff now.
