Helen Lewis’ new article bemoans how the far-right is pushing for a Gilead-type existence. Yet she totally ignores how she (& other ‘gender critical’ transphobes) ACTIVELY collaborated with them in their joint “wedge issue” to attack trans rights! Spot her name on the anti-trans coalition website)

I love the noise Canada Geese make as they fly overhead and their instinctive communal sense of aesthetic organisation, plus the way that not one of them will ever barge in on social media with their opinion on a piece of writing without clicking on the link to find out what the piece actually says.

The blackbirds are still singing, their song. For months now, it’s been liquid green bouncing off leaves, in between ferns and out of tendrils. Now the roses absorb it. What a wonder it is to be alive and to see, feel such things.

TODAY I LEARNT SOMETHING GENUINELY IMPORTANT! If you need to move a snail (like, to prevent it getting trodden on), don’t just pick it up by its shell because that stretches and hurts them! 😭😭😭 Instead, gently tap its shell so it first retracts inside. Then you can lift it without hurting it ❤️

Two big lies transphobes use…. The 1st is that the Equality Act always excluded trans people, but that the courts, Parliament or the EHRC, had somehow not noticed this until last year. The 2nd lie is that trans people are always identifiable, or when they aren’t, are intentionally deceptive.
