Absolutely exhausted. I have a dentist appointment this afternoon (just cleaning/checkup) and for the first time ever, I had an anxiety dream about going to the dentist. Gotta be leftover angst from my failed dentist visit elsewhere from October in which I walked out during the exam.

We reviewed the dash cam from last night (this morning)... Turns out it was a large opossum. Like Lord God King Opossum. (Or Lady Goddess Queen Opossum. Or Noble Deity Royal Opossum if they're non-binary.) Either way, big fucking opossum.

Well. Happy Fucking New Year. Driving home from our friends' house, on U.S. 95-S, a large rodent or raccoon literally jumped in front of the car while we were doing the speed limit. Likely $4k+ in damages. The saving grace is the $500 deductible. Why not?
