The abuse LGBT+ people face for sticking up for their own community should shock any reasonable person. The vile harassment comes from an army of bots & well funded trolls who pretend that they’re victim. I’d love to see actual critical journalism covering this, not framing them as false victims.

Supporting human rights and standing against hate crime is not a breach of impartiality.

I warned about this, if a precedent was set around removing one public service from Pride, more would go. Young LGBT folk wouldn’t see themselves represented in the civil service, healthcare, transportation. The chilling effect of this ruling could set LGBT visibility in public life back 30 years.

This makes me deeply sad & worried. Anyone who thinks this is a good thing is mistaken, police participating in Pride was a positive step & was done for 20 years in the UK. The people funding this lawfare won’t stop here, they’ll continue to target the visibility of LGBTQ+ people in public life.

Himalayan Balsam is a non native invasive plant. It takes over and dominates an area, out competing native plants. It’s possible to get rid of it but it requires a lot of management. I’m now locked in for a long war with stuff now!

The new Superman movie is great. Feels really fresh and bright, with some nice humour and stand out action sequences. The chemistry between Superman and Lois is perfect and Mr Terrific is well, terrific. If you’ve ever been a dog owner there’s a few scenes that should resonate. Go see it 9/10
