Two things can be true: 1) The President has legal authority over the D.C. police and the D.C. National Guard that he doesn't have *anywhere else* in the country; & 2) Even if this doesn't set a legal precedent, it sets an ominous *political* precedent for pretextually overriding local government.

Having now read this, the fact that the FBI arrested a judge for what was a 22-min delay in arresting the alleged suspect is even more disturbing than originally thought. This is insanity.

I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison. It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.

I've been in El Salvador all day fighting for the return of Mr. Abrego Garcia. The Trump Administration can lie all they want, but the Court said they failed to show he was part of MS-13. This is about bringing home a man they ADMIT should never have been abducted. I won't rest until then.

Even if you (wrongly) believe that some immigrants lack due process rights, whatās to stop the government from claiming that *you* are an undocumented immigrant; removing you to El Salvador; citing an āadministrative errorā; and refusing to do anything to bring you back? The answer is due process.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been sitting in a Salvadoran prison for over a month because the Trump Admin made a mistake. Now, the Admin is defying SCOTUS & refusing to bring him back. If we allow Trump to violate Kilmar's rights, none of our rights are safe. Kilmar is all of us.

The most powerful words you can say right now to these fascist bastards is: "No, make me." They cannot actually be everywhere and enforce their fascist policies. They rely on fear to do the job of governing for them. By refusing to comply, you make their means of compliance ineffective.
