No effort whatsoever is being made to sell conflict with Iran to the American people, but Trump absolutely will not stop talking about his ballroom. THAT gets the hard sell.

Again, there is no magical "cancel the election" button. Elections are held at the state level, and they are already in progress. Trump has no power to stop them, and no executive order stopping them has any authority. The mechanics of this don't even exist.

The WH is making no effort at all to convince the American people how or why military action in Iran will keep them safe or improve their circumstances. They're not even trying to sell this, because nobody cares about anything beyond cashing in and keeping Trump happy.
