So one of the things I miss most about living in Japan is the loose tea selection at my neighborhood family restaurant. Specifically, they had a powerful hibiscus/rose hip blend that became my favorite tea the first time I had it, and I've missed it ever since.

There is a reason the main villain of the Shelter Trilogy (so far!) is a far right conservative asshole with no depth. It is a) more realistic to the world we're living in today, and b) more satisfying to see him get his ass kicked.

I know it's easy to dump on organizations when they misstep repeatedly, but it's also important to recognize when those later missteps are attempts to correct for the original error, and when they're triangulating in on a better course of action.

Heh, well, as evidenced by my last post, the entirety of the Highwayman by Noyes lives rent free in my head. But also, my only tattoo is a line from Sarah Williams' The Old Astronomer. "I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."

The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

The one year anniversary of Yoon's failed martial law takeover just passed and lots of untold stories came out proving that THE ONLY REASON KOREA IS STILL A FREE COUNTRY IS BECAUSE PEOPLE DISOBEYED ILLEGAL ORDERS. The coup was over in hours because people said no.

Nobody asks questions when I tell them my day job. It's the most boring thing imaginable. Most people just blink and move on. When I say I'm a writer, the worst question is "Have I read anything you've written?" I dunno, dude, but probably not!

Just so it's clear. It's not allowing AI because it's trying to create a clean dataset for training AI. It's not because any of the involved parties actually care about human created art. Demons can lie to you. You have to rebuke them categorically, rather than fold when they say the right words.
