#HorrorWritersChat Q4 The way the world has embraced AI without hardly blinking is scary AF! Surveillance and face recognition too. For me these represent more dystopian horror. I find our reliance on tech, electricity and the like very... interesting. It's just a disaster waiting to happen.

How it hacks our brains--social media siloing us away from each other, AI leading us into psychosis and short circuiting our ability to think, propaganda creating alternate realities using both. And all of these dark patterns manipulating us for profit and control. #horrorwriterschat

I think our growing desire to be dependent on AI for our needs, including social and creative, is going to ultimately cause us a whole heap of trouble. #HorrorWritersChat
