Everything has horror potential. But I think about AI controlling health insurance claim decisions to maximize profits at the expensive human lives, and that really is the stuff of nightmares. #HorrorWritersChat

Definitely lean toward outdated tech, largely because my stories are set in times or places where they wouldn't have the latest technology. My LWF series takes place in an isolated cult town where they view tech as demonic. My current WIP is set in 1995, which also limits tech. #HorrorWritersChat

In my short story "The Specter of Rejection," I do have a laptop that goes rogue and does horrible things to the MC's WIP. But that's my only foray into tech horror so far. The rest of the time, it's just a tool. #HorrorWritersChat
