The horror I write is all about my personal fears. I can't even pretend otherwise. It's not all self insert, but everything I write is steeped in my consciousness and aged in the me. Aging is empowering, but not as much as I hoped. It's not me, the world has gotten dark. #horrorwriterschat

I probably don't use is as well as I should. Cumulative trauma is in there. Regrets, too. But also a general weariness with the status quo and a search for new ways to answer old questions instead of knee jerk enthusiasm and charging around.
