Spent the day in Rotorua for the first time. It is very stinky but the Polynesian Spa was relaxing and I even got to learn a bit of history, it opened in the 1880s!

I am going on a bit of a road trip over the next few days so naturally I am packing as if I am going to shit myself multiple days in a row for the first time in my life.

I’ve been setting up Windows on a new computer for the first time in a while and I was pleasantly surprised to find that in most places when asking for a country it showed ‘NZ Aotearoa’, which I don’t think it did last time did this a few years ago. I thought it was pretty neat!

I've now started my reading on Cook's second voyage and as much as I like to keep my bias to a minimum I think I did a pretty bad job of hiding my disdain for Banks. Well, apparently he has one last blow up before we can get rid of him so I'll get to drag him through the mud just a little bit more.
