I had to take our cameras down when we had our roof replaced a few years ago and I just never put them back up, but I think I need to do it. There have been some car break-ins in the neighborhood this (well, last) month and this week a car was stolen from my street.

I tried the fried apple pie today. It was good! It wasn't hot by the time I got the groceries in and put away, but that was fine with me because I don't like warm pie. I'm hoping to get at least one more before they go away again.

The schedule for the week starting July 5 was posted 10 minutes ago and there are already 4 people in the group chat giving away shifts. You can't tell me they didn't know before now that they needed those days off. I will never understand why they don't request off the days they need.

Today on my lunch break I walked around the mall playing Pokemon Go (community day, 4 shinies). When my time was up, I walked back into the store still holding my phone and playing. I was not back on the clock yet. A customer watched me walk in from outside the store and asked "do you work here?"

I miss my cats. I miss them yelling at me and trying to trip me up down the stairs and dunking their stupid heads into my cereal. It's been a little while since we lost the last of them... So it's just really nice for me when you guys post your cat pictures. Keep doing that.

I woke up at 4am to the scent of a skunk 🦨 travelling through the backyard.

We've had so much rain this afternoon that the entrance to my neighborhood is flooded. The car in front of me drove through it (very slowly). I was lucky there was no one behind me and I was able to back up and turn around. Went to another entrance but the road to get to it was also flooded.

What a day. My first curbside customer was a woman who used to work at the store. She told me that another former coworker passed away this week. I didn't know either of them well, but the woman who died lived a couple of blocks away from me and I often saw her out working in her yard.

Idk what's going on but I just got to the library. They open in 6 minutes and there's a huge line. There are usually 4 or 5 of us here at this time waiting for them to open. Today there are at least 30.

Every time we lose a friend on here I write their name on a small rock. I got this idea from Katiebug's mom on Twitter, who has a rock garden for hers. My rocks are smaller and I have two jars, one for cats and one for dogs, that I put the rocks in. This is Charlie's rock. @kickysam49.com

I got shampoo in. My eye while taking a shower today and just now I poked myself in the other eye with my glasses. I could just give up and go to bed but it's only 8:45 and I took a two hour nap this afternoon.
