I’m pissed Ellison-led Paramount pulled #TheLegendOfAang from theaters and moved it to Paramount+, 10 months b4 release. Ironically, Disney’s now our last chance at a resurgence of theatrical fully 2D/hand-drawn animated films in the form of 20th Century Studios’ #TheSimpsonsMovie sequel out 9/3/27.

3 months/90 days/an average of 30 days per month left til Disney/Pixar’s next, new original 30th full-length animated feature film #Hoppers hits theaters. I hope we see Pixar and the film’s director Daniel Chong acknowledge that occasion in a special variant of Pixar’s logo at the start of the film.

I just want to wish a happy 60th birthday to Oscar winning director Andrew Stanton, who gave us classic Pixar films like #WallE, #FindingNemo, and my personal favorite #ABugsLife. I can’t wait to see him make what I feel might be the best film in the long running saga yet with #ToyStory5 next summer

Happy 15th Anniversary to Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 50th feature film #Tangled. A film that, along w/ the help of other films in #WinnieThePooh (2011), #ThePrincessAndTheFrog, and #MeetTheRobinsons, helped launch Disney Animation back into a new age of renaissance and revival at the box office.

Just got out of my 5th & final viewing of Disney’s #Zootopia2 in IMAX at AMC Theatres’ Jersey Gardens 20 w/ my girlfriend. And I still think the movie’s slightly better than the 1st, if I’m being honest. And, get this, my 5th viewing had the teaser for Pixar’s #ToyStory5. Coincidence? I think not.

Somehow you were right. I genuinely enjoyed it, and might even agree that it was better than zootopia 1. I wouldn't give it a 5/5, but it was a solid 4 just like the first one

YES! They did it! Disney FINALLY, after 3 misfires, got Walt Disney Animation Studios their sequel that got a score in the 90% range on Rotten Tomatoes & Metacritic and their best-reviewed film since 2021’s #Encanto in #Zootopia2. Guess all Disney had to do was leave the storytellers alone. Nice!
