I’m seeing a significant rise in AI written reviews for books (identical structures, distinctive rigid syntax and voicelessness). Authors, if you’re tagged in positive AI written reviews, do you respond?

We actually recorded this in December. However, Donyae lived very near the Alex Pretti shootings and right in the heart of dangerous ICE raids. Editing and release has to wait until she was relocated somewhere safe, the situation calmer, and her other writing work was done.

A little update to this. A source emailed me to say they'd used an industry tool to look up Coral Hart's sales and they totaled only 37 copies for the books under that pen name. So, yeah I do not believe the six figures on 50k sales the NYT reported.

It’s lowkey nuts to me how often people will just *not pay* you in publishing. MCM were supposed to pay me six months ago for a panel, and even with the publisher nudging them for me, they haven’t gotten around to it.
