Had a 'rate your courier' email from Evri about a parcel I got yesterday. Went and left 5* (parcel turned up when they said it would, not left in a bin etc) and got a 'want to say thanks with a tip?' message. Do you tip your Evri driver??

I finished my Lego T-Rex display! I bought a used terrarium, then ordered the white baseplates, the stanchions, and the "rope" from Lego. The spotlights and the terrarium background were from Amazon. Minifigs were from my box of assorted Lego :-)

ARCs of MORTEDANT's PERIL are moving out in the world and it's always a weird feeling; 'what are readers thinking?' Sadly, it's frowned on in publishing to hire a PI to track them down, kidnap them and bring them to a warehouse for questioning. Which, for the author, is very frustrating.

Book 3 of the year: Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney. Absolute page turner, story drew me in, writing and plot was great. Until it wasn’t. The twist didn’t land for me but I know tons of others loved it

Book 2 of the year: The Mysterious Double Death of Honey Black by Lisa Hall. Absolutely loved it. Time jump shenanigans to the glitz of Hollywood in 1949 and Lily Jones has a murder to stop from happening

Book 1 of 2026. The Grapples of Wrath by Alice Bell. Great fun, wrestling, ghosts and murder. What more could you possibly want?
